Summary

A photograph of twenty one young men standing and sitting on the steps in quadrangle of Christ Church, the letters Ch Ch are scratched on the wall on the right. They all wear the dress of the Bullingdon Club, their jackets with pale lapels, pale waistcoats and bow ties. The Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, later Captain the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, 1880-1915 is sitting in the second row, two from left and has a flower in his lapel. Provenance

A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953, and continued to live there with his two sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966. This is a photo album belonging to the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, later Captain, the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, 1880-1915, containing photographs of his time at Oxford University.
