Summary description

Oil painting on canvas, Mary Hunt (b.c. 1690), attributed to Charles Jervas (Dublin 1675 – London 1739), circa 1700. A half- length portrait of the third daughter of John Hunt of Mollington, Cheshire, facing, wearing white satin dress trimmed with blue. Companion picture to LAN.P.61 and P.63


In 1845 inventory; by inheritance, through the sitter's brother, Thomas Hunt II; given by Gerald, 7th Viscount Clifden (1883-1966), with the transfer of the house to the National Trust in 1953
