Summary
Oil painting on canvas, George Parker (1727/8 -1740), British / English school, inscribed, bottom left: George Parker. / b: 1728, dated 1740. A three-quarter-length oval painted portrait of George Parker, the eldest son of John Parker (1703-1768) and Catherine Poulett (1706-1758) who died prematurely. He is almost facing, in a green coat, and red emboridered waistcoat. His left hand is on his hip, his right in his coat.

Given to the National Trust as part of the endowment by Montagu Brownlow Parker, 5th Earl of Morley (1878-1962)
