Oil painting on canvas (oval), John Parker (1703 - 1768), British (English) School, 2nd quarter of 18th century. A painted oval portrait of the son of George Parker of Boringdon.

Provenance

Accepted with Saltram house and some contents by HM Treasury in part payment of death-duties from the executors of Edmund Robert Parker, 4th Earl of Morley (1877-1951) and transferred to the National Trust in 1957

Credit line
