Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Frederick II of Prussia (1712-1786), after Johann Heinrich Christian Franke ( Havelberg 1738 - Berlin 1792), previously attributed to Anna Dorothea Lisiewska (Berlin 1721/2 – 1782) (Therbusch) late 18th century after an original of circa 1765. A half-length portrait, profile to left, head facing, right arm outstretched; he wears a blue coat, orange sash, order of the black eagle, and cocked hat.
