Provenance
Commissioned in 1778, it was brought to John Lord Boringdon, from Madrid, by his brother-in-law Lord Grantham, then British Ambassador at that Court in August 1779; given to the National Trust as part of the endowment by Montagu Brownlow Parker, 5th Earl of Morley (1878-1962)
