Charcoal on paper, Identified by a label on reverse as Edward Venables Vernon Harcourt (1757-1847), Archbishop of York , British (English) School. Head and shoulders portrait of a gentleman in a wig.
ed at Saltram House c.1900 and thence by descent to Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley and given to NT as part of the endowment following the transfer to NT in 1957
