Full description
Ellen Malcolm was an artist and teacher, born in Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, Scotland. She exhibited a wide range of subjects from still life and landscape, to portraiture and domestic scenes. After Aberdeen Academy she studied at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, 1940-44. Later, she taught in Aberdeen for a number of years. She exhibited often in Scotland, and examples of her work are in Perth Art Gallery & Museum and Lillie Art Gallery, Mlingavie. She was married to fellow artist Gordon Cameron.
