Summary description

Oil painting on canvas, John Hulston, British (English) School. A head-and-shoulder portrait of a man, turned to the left, and gazing at the spectator, balding, dark brown beard and moustache, wearing a suit of armour, with a red sash, double hoop earring and a simple white linen collar.

Dudmaston collection; transferred to the National Trust, by Lady Labouchere, 1st March 1984.
