Summary
Oil painting on canvas: Dorothy Robinson, Mrs John Pate-Lister, British (English) School, circa 1740. A painted oval half-length portrait, of a mature woman, the wife of John Pate-Lister and daughter of the Reverend Peter Robinson, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, brown hair dressed with a string of pearls and with a ringlet on her left shoulder, wearing a pale mauve dress and blue mantle.
