Summary
Oil painting on panel, Ann Hulston, Mrs John Hulston, British (English) School, early 17th century. Painted oval on oval panel. Bust-length portrait of a young woman, the aunt (?) of Francis Wolryche turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, dark brown hair drawn tightly back, wearing brown embroidered and bejwelled gown, set off with a white cartwheel ruff, jewelled earring in right ear with a crescent pendant.
