Summary
Oil painting on canvas, King Charles I (1600-1649) in the manner of Sir Anthony Van Dyck (Antwerp 1599 - London 1641). A half-length portrait, turned to the right, almost right profile, shoulder length hair, beard and moustache, wearing a slashed silver-edged gold jerkin, broad lace collar, and the Lesser George on V-ribbon. A pair with the portrait of Henrietta Maria.
