One of thirteen cushions for a set of thirteen beechwood armchairs. Six of the cushions are yellow painted silk and match other furnishings in the Yellow Taffeta Bedroom. The other seven cushions are chintz (embroidered silk). The armchairs were created by John Linnell (London 1729 - 1796). This cushion is one of a set of seven chintz (embroidered silk) cushions for chair CMS 771800.7. The pattern is of foliage, flowers and two birds with their wings spread and beaks open.
