One of thirteen cushions for a set of thirteen beechwood armchairs. Six of the cushions are yellow painted silk and match other furnishings in the Yellow Taffeta Bedroom. The other seven cushions are chintz (embroidered silk). The armchairs were created by John Linnell (London 1729 - 1796). This cushion is chintz (embroidered silk) with piping. The embroidery includes three birds with spread wings and open beaks set amidst flowers and foliage. The chair is 771800.12.
