Summary
One of a pair of ormolu pastille burners. Standard curved triangular form ending in mused female busts on paw feet. On each side, in relief, a female figure standing on a pierced pedestal, a star above her head. The round plate with gadrooned lip rests on three lions heads and a capital. Curved triangular base with decorated frieze. French Empire.
