Summary

Walnut upright piano, Rogers & Sons 1894. Foldaway music stand contained within piano lid, two metal brackets on the front for two candle holders (stored in the bureau (746330) by the family) and a metal lock on the lid. Decoration consists of carved pillar designs up either side of the piano, the lines of which continue down the sides of the keyboard and along its front. Support for the keyboard is provided by two carved supports, one on either side, with line and circular decoration.
