Print, sanguine engraving, Apollo Belvedere. After an early Roman Hadrianic period copy of 120 AD of a bronze original by Leochares, 350-320 BC. A plaster cast of the antique statue of Apollo Belvedere, excavated in Rome in the 15th century and now in the Belvedere courtyard of the Vatican Museum Naked figure wearing sandals, cloak and carrying quiver of arrows, looking to viewers right. Left hand extended. Mounted on woven material.
