Summary description

Oil painting on canvas, Alda Gertrude Lethbridge, Mrs Henry William Purcell Weston (1836 - 1906) by Henry Weigall (London 1829 - Ramsgate 1925). A full-length portrait of the mother Alda Weston who married Henry Hugh Arthur Hoare, 6th Bt. She is standing in brown dress with white collar and a black lacy shawl, looking to the left, on a balcony with a landscape extending beyond. A white marble statue of a putto is behind the balustrade on the right.
