Summary

A square piano inscribed on the fascia Christopher Ganer Londoni Fecit 1784 / Broad Street Soho. The case of mahogany, crossbanded and inlaid with contrasting timbers and resting on a 'French frame' stand (its music shelf absent). Compass FF - f3. Fitted with Zumpe's action ('English single action'), and three handstops for divided bass/treble dampers and harp ('buff') stop.
