Summary
Oil painting on canvas, A Trout Stream near Chagford, Devon by Henry John Yeend King (London 1855 – London 1924), signed lower left: YEEND KING. An upright landscape with a stream falling through rocks, looking back towards a bridge. A group of boulders fills the left foreground and beyond the grassy bank on this side, a tall tree filling the sky leads the eye to the arch of a bridge in the background. Two figures, probably fishing, stand on the rocks below the bridge on the right.
