Summary
Oil painting on panel, Personification of Asia, attributed to British (English) School. A painted sculpture bust of man wearing and surrounded by attributes of the Asian continent. He wears a turban, an earring and a long moustache. The bust sits on a plinth in an oval sculptural niche surrounded by flowers (including ulips and pinks) and laurel leaves. He wears a turban, an earring and a long moustache. Below, in front of the plinth, is a head of an animal, perhaps a horse.
