Summary
Oil painting on canvas, An Unknown Boy, British / English School, late 17th century. A painted sculptured oval portrait, half- length to right, wearing an embroidered brown surcoat and red cloak, a dog's head can be seen on the left. The head appears to be original, the arms also. The remainder is repainted.
Provenance
Previously on loan, 1975; gift of Lt -Col Geoffrey Walter Fownes Luttrell (1919 – 2007) to the National Trust in 1981.
