Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Possibly Colonel Alexander Luttrell (1663 - 1711), English School, early 18th century. A painted oval portrait, bust, to right wearing red cloak, white cravat and full bottomed wig. Reputedly Francis Luttrell, possibly a son of Narcissus Luttrell, (1682 - 1749). However, it is possible that he is the same sitter who is represented in DC/P/17 and is therefore one of the two portraits of Colonel Alexander 'in a large periwig and a red cloak'
