Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Possibly Anne Luttrell, Mrs Edward Pleydell (1731 - 1820), manner of Thomas Hudson (Devonshire 1701 – Twickenham 1779). A half -length sculptured oval portrait to left, head facing, wearing an adaptation of a 17th century dress, black bodice and white lawn sleeves. Traditionally identified as Anne, daughter of Francis Luttrell and Anne Stucley (d. 1731), who was born in 1731 and married Edward Pleydell.
