Vyne Estate, Hampshire (Accredited Museum)
A historic water system comprising of a ram and wheel pump, they are complimentary systems, the ram providing low volumes of water steadily and the wheel pumping under differing channel flow conditions, both raising water to the tank house. Wheel pump dated 1904. The earliest drainage drawings are from Thomas Chute and dated 1776. Other water services diagrams are dated 1829, 1847, 1903 and 1920, and there is an undated fragment that appears to date to prior to 1903. These are all held at the Hampshire Records Office.
