Summary
A tin plate clockwork 'AM POL' crazy tricycle carrying two passengers. The tricycle has a blue and yellow body and red spoked wheels. Both passengers wear all-in-one outfits, decorated with a red and black feather like pattern. The front passenger holds a metal rod in his left hand and an oval object in his right hand. The other end of the rod is attached to the front wheel. The back passenger sits on a higher seat overhanging the back of the tricycle. This figure holds a large umbrella, the top of which is decorated with a world map. A key (attached to the clockwork mechanism inside) protrudes from the left side of the tricycle as you look at it from the front.
Marks and inscriptions
One side of the tricycle: 'AMPOL/PATD, USA/12.MAI.03/22.JAN.07.' The other side of the tricycle: 'AMPOL/D.R.PATENT.' Back of the tricycle: '681/MADE IN GERMANY/MARKE/LEHMANN.'
