Summary
A commemorative ceramic mug, produced to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897. It is decorated with a colour transfer decoration of the Royal coat of arms flanked by a lion and a unicorn. Above and below the coat of arms is written 'LONGEST AND MOST GLORIOUS REIGN SIXTY YEARS 1837 LONG VICTORIA LIVE 1897'. There are also colour transfer decorations of roses and thistles. Gold lusterware on handle and rim.
