A silver model of a Boer war Lancer in pith helmet, carrying a lance, mounted on his horse. The whole mounted on an ebonised plinth. A silver plaque records the presentation to Capt.A.A.Montgomery RHA by 9th Lancer Friends, South Africa 1900-1901.Marks -- London 1902 G and S Co.Ld. (Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company Ltd.112 Regent Street London W.
