Summary
Oil painting on canvas, An Unknown Page Boy, British (English) School, circa 1670/80. Full-length portrait of a young boym turned as if walking to the left, gazing at the spectator, wearing with a white cravat tied with a red ribbon, black stockings, white shoes tied with red ribbons and ,holding a chain of red beads and gold medallions. A Coat of arms in the top left-hand corner.
Provenance
1944, gifted to the National Trust by Field Marshal Sir Archibald and Lady Montgomery Massingberd.
