Summary
Two pink (originally purple/pink) curtains. Originally purple/pink cotton plain weave with slub. Very light faded. Cotton (possibly linen) very degraded; plain weave. b) lining possibly cut from old sheet (see cut open worked hem) partly pink but mostly lost through light fading. Hemmed at heading, two sides and bottom. Hand sewn and machine sewn. Lining does not reach the bottom. Not in original form. English manufacture circa 1940.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
