Oil painting on canvas, Husband of Elizabeth Blackett, miscalled William Marshall, British (English) School, circa 1680. Label in 19th century ink on paper, now attached to front reads: Probably William Marshall m. Elizabeth. 2nd d. of Sir William Blackett. Bart. A three-quarter-length portrait of a man, turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, in a dark brown full-bottomed wig and wearing a red cloak over classical dress, lace cravat, his left hand on his hip; landscape at left.
