Summary
A figured mahogany and marquetry chest on chest, English, circa 1800. The upper section with moulded cornice and frieze inlaid with three conch shells, above two short and three long drawers flanked by canted angles of bird's eye maple, the lower section with a further three long drawers, all with oval handles depicting a reclining figure and ship, standing on bracket feet.
