Pastel on paper, Sir Walter Calverley Blackett, 2nd Bt (1707 – 1777) by Arthur Pond (1701-1758). A half-length portrait of a man dressed in a blue-grey coat with pink waistcoat. He is also wearing a white kerchief and a wig. Reattributed by Neil Jeffares.[Framed]

Sir Walter Calverley. Bart. - Elizabeth Ord. Daughter of Sir William Blackett acquired the estates of Wallington and took and used the surname and arms of Blackett by this alliance (plaque attached to the picture)
