Summary
Bowl (ensuite with two saucer-dishes, see 581618), porcelain, hemispherical, octalobed rim, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, China, 1700-1722; decorated in underglaze cobalt blue (powdered), translucent polychrome overglaze (famille verte (Trans. green family)) enamels and gold; painted with a central flower spray and four radiating panels with flower studies alternating with powdered blue panels heightened with gilt landscapes, central circular panel of a flower spray, surrounded by radiating panels of the flowers of the four seasons.
