Summary
Saucer (and teabowl NT 581474), porcelain, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, China, c. 1740-1750; decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and iron-red enamel and gold, painted with a mountainous riverscape with pavilions and oversized prunus blossoms and lotus in the foreground, the rim with a trellis-diaperwork border interspersed with demi-florettes.
