Summary
Oil painting on canvas, called Thomas Browne (1540 - 1613) of Chester, English School, early 17th century. His son became Sir Thomas Browne (1605 - 1682) who wrote 'Religio Medico' (1642) and 'Urn Burial' (1658). His widow Anne Garraway of Lewes (Browne), remarried Sir Thomas Dutton in 1614.
