Summary
Silver teapot. Hinged circular lid with repousse and chased acanthus leaf decoration and flower finial, acanthus leaf border above scotia rim, inverted mushroom body decorated with repousse and chased acanthus leaf panels and engraved initials 'JW', curved spout with acanthus leaves , scrolled handle with curled acanthus leaf and ivory insulators, four shaped foliate and paw feet. Impressed with maker's mark 'CF' (Charles Fox), London assay office, sovereigns head, lion passant, date letter 'i' for 1824.
