Summary
An inlaid rosewood box with arched lid. Top of lid inlaid with bird's eye maple with stylised foliage edges. Central oval mother-of-pearl disc. Similar inlay on front of lid and base. Interior of lid lined with cushioned red fabric with raised scrolled design. Base lined in red paper with gold stars. Inscirbed - Marquetry work box was key hole surround burr mapel or brass or mother of (label inside)
