Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Sir Walter Lloyd MP of Voelallt and Peterwell (d. 1737), British (English) School, 1735/37. A three-quarter-length portrait of Attorney General for South Wales, of an eldery man, seated in a scarlet and gold upholstered chair, in a full-bottomed powdered wig wearing a dark (legal) gown, with white frills at wrist and white linen bands.
Provenance
Gifted to the National Trust in March 1944 by Reverend Herbert Thomas Charles Lloyd-Johnes.
