Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Queen Anne (1665–1714), in the manner of Michael Dahl (Stockholm 1656/9 – London 1743). A three-quarter-length portrait of Queen Anne, positioned slightly to the left with a direct gaze with the spectator. She is wearing a blue dress with a crimson and ermine cloak. She is standing in a throne room, a colonnaded and arched interior is visible in the background. She is resting her left hand on a table on which her crown sits alongside her orb and sceptre. In a large carved giltwood frame. Purchased in 1837 for £21;

Purchased in 1837 for £21; presented to the National Trust by Sir Montgomerie Fairfax-Lucy (1896 – 1965), two years after the death of his father, Sir Henry Ramsay-Fairfax, 3rd Bt (1870 – 1944), with Charlecote Park and its chief contents, in 1946
