Summary
Oil painting on canvas, View near Windsor, with Cows and Fishermen by William Ingalton (Worplesdon 1794 – 1866), signed lower right. Near Windsor with three children in foreground, 1 with fishing rod, river and water meadow right, rising ground left with cows, low horizon. Gilt frame, labelled 'Near Windsor, W. Ingalton 1704-1866. Exhibited at the British Institution 1821, and the Burlington Fine Arts Club 1932'.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
