Oil painting on panel, Scottish River Scene with Cattle in a Meadow by Sir Edwin Henry Landseer (London 1802 - London 1873). A Scottish landscape with burn in the foreground, a fallen tree, a cow and calf and several bothies above the river bank on the left; a group of pines and distant hills, Glen Finnan? Label on frame 'From the artist's sale 1874. Exhibited Royal Academy 1961'.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
