Full description
There is a miniature painter, John Wright (c.1760-suicde 1820) who exhibited miniatures at the RA 1795-1819, and who did watercolour copies of oil portraits for stipple engravers 1812ff., all of great precision. But, if he was really born as early as 1760, his career begins very late - could he have done these when young?
