A three-quarter-length portrait, of a young woman, turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, with long dark hair, drawn back, wearing a greyish-white silk gown with a low neckline and three-quarter sleeves revealing white chemise beneath with ruffled cuffs. A blue silk cloak falls behind her on her right and is draped over her left side and held by her right hand at her breast. In her left hand she holds an unfurled scroll of music. A small brown and white dog rests a paw on her knee in the lower right. Set in a room with a large bronze urn on the left and a window on the right, looking onto a pyramid monument and a view of Rome (?) beyond. Signed and dated, lower right: Felloues: pinxit 1740
