Summary
Oil painting on canvas. Peasants outside a Town Gate, by Paolo Monaldi (1720-1799), mid 18th century. A circular painting of two peasants dancing at the left of the composition by a ruined archway. To the right they are watched by a group of peasants, one of whom plays a guitar.

Indigenous purchased by the Ministry of Works in 1956 and given to Dyrham Park in 1961
