Summary
Oil painting on canvas, The Holy Family with Infant John the Baptist, possibly Niccolò Berrettoni (Pasalo 1637 – Rome 1682) or circle of Agostino Masucci (Rome 1690 – Rome 1768). The infant cousins meet for the first time when they are both in Egypt. Another version is at Burghley House, catalogued as Giuseppe Bartolomeo Chiari (Rome 1654 – Rome 1727), Carlo Maratta's pupil.
