Oil painting on canvas, Edward Geoffrey Smith-Stanley, 14th Earl of Derby, KG, PC (1799-1869) by Sir Francis Grant PRA (Kilgraston 1803 - Melton Mowbray 1878). A square-framed ova half-length portrait, head turned and gazing to the left, black coat and cravat with grey waistcoat, narrow black monocle ribbon around neck. See also NT/HUG/P/6a,b.
