Oil painting on canvas, Captain Thomas Vernon (1686-1743), attributed to Enoch Seeman the younger (Gdańsk c.1694 – London 1744) (previously manner of Michael Dahl (Stockholm 1656/9 – London 1743)). circa 1720/30.. A painted oval half-length portrait of a young man, turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, in a long powdered wig, wearing a pink velvet coat with white linen stock. Inscribed no 5.
