Summary
Oil painting on canvas. An Unknown Man, possibly by David Scougall (fl.1654 – 1677). Set in a painted oval, made to look like a carved frame. Head and shoulders portrait of a man, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, wearing a long wig, cravat and brown cloak. Giltwood frame.
