Provenance: manuscript inscription on vol. 1 front fly-leaf: "R: [or B:] 4 vols". Binding: eighteenth-century Cambridge-style blind-panelled calf; sewn on three supports; five raised bands; gilt roll pattern along board edges; gilt title on brown leather label and gilt vol. number on spines. Brown sprinkled textblock edges.
